Melissa Wood-Tepperberg not only is a certified health and wellness coach, but she is also a mediator, yoga and pilates teacher, and an advocate for plant-based diets. In other words, she’s an all-rounded health and wellness advocate who can share everything you need to know about living well. Her three pillars of focus are the three “M’s”: meditation, mindful eating and movement. Wood-Tepperberg has accumulated a number of wellness tips over the years, from food, fitness, beauty, fashion, baby and lifestyle, which she now shares on her digital platform to help you achieve your best self.
Wood-Tepperberg wasn’t always so health-and-wellness inclined, but she was once at an all-time low, and she managed to overcome that. It is often a powerful moment in one’s life when you realize that you actually had the power to breakthrough what was possibly the “worst time in your life”, and Wood-Tepperberg wanted to share that with the world: the process of learning to love oneself and one’s body. Therefore, in her work, Wood-Tepperberg is most happy that she gets to help other people look and feel amazing in their own skin!
However, it isn’t all sunshine and roses when it comes to health and wellness; Wood-Tepperberg has her very first tip for you on your wellness journey: “Whatever it is you’re looking to achieve you have to commit to it.” As for her own routine, Wood-Tepperberg drinks celery juice first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and she is “obsessed”! For skincare and beauty, Wood-Tepperberg does a freezing cold rinse for 1 to 3 minutes. Not only does it boost your immune system, but it also boosts your collagen levels and gives you a youthful glow. In fact, “I swear my skin is tighter,” she says.
Her favorite form of exercise is her own methods – no surprise there! She recommends her own exercises because she has done them all, and has never felt better mentally and physically performing her own exercises. To break it down a little, her exercises consists of a series of slow, controlled movements through yoga and pilates to sculpt long, lean lines throughout your entire body. That means no bulky muscles, and best of all, they’re 20- to 30-minute workouts that require no equipment whatsoever, so you can do them anywhere!
