Open-air dining on the ground is outdated! Really give yourself the experience of a lifetime by enjoying the real open air - up in the skies!3 min

Dinner In The Sky_ A Whole New Level Of Open-Air Dining You've Never Tried Before

💭 Imagine this: You and your loved one(s) enjoying a glass of chilled drink, chattering amongst yourselves while being served a three- or four-course meal, taking in the city landscape from a bird’s eye view while the breeze gently swirls around you… All at the height of 50 meters above ground! 😍 That’s right people, don’t settle for open-air dining on the ground anymore, not when you can redefine “open-air” by dining in the sky!

The Sky Is No Longer The Limit

And that sentence happens to be kind of a tagline for “Dinner in the Sky”, which is where you’d have your dinner suspended in the air. Dinner in the Sky was born in May 2006, the brainchild of Hakuna Matata and The Fun Group. Hakuna Matata is a communications agency specialising in gourmet pleasures, whereas The Fun Group is a company specialising in amusement park installations deploying cranes. Together, they created the concept of Dinner in the Sky, and today it is available in more than 40 countries worldwide. 😮

Exciting And Exhilarating

Once everyone boards, the whole platform will be raised up using a crane. Think of an elevator, but only it’s horizontal and transparent. Watch items on the ground shrink, and laugh out loud in pure joy, for you’re about to have dinner suspended in the air! For a full hour, immerse yourself in the experience of being high up in the air, enjoying the company of others while enjoying scrumptious food. Do remember to take plenty of selfies to share with the rest of us while you’re at it! 😊

Tips For A Fly Experience

It’s the 21st century, guys! Purchase your tickets online at their website, which we will be providing at the end of the article. However, if you’re in the area, you can also get your tickets from their ticketing counter at 231, Jalan Bukit Bintang. As long as you are above the age of 13, have a height of at least 145 cm, and below the weight of 150 kg, you can go for Dinner in the Sky! For those under 18, they must be accompanied by someone above 18, and are required to sign the indemnity form on their behalf. 😇

If you have certain medical conditions, you may not be eligible, and pregnant women are not allowed to dine in the sky as well. For a pleasant experience, do remember to use the washroom before you hit the skies. I’m sure you’d like to remain in the sky for a full hour, so if everyone wants to use the washroom, the platform has to constantly be lowered, which would be a buzzkill.

This is one appointment you don’t want to be late for, nor forget! Lateness and forgetfulness will not result in a refund, so make sure you be there early! Last but not least, employing German technology, Dinner in the Sky is perfectly safe. The table is built in Belgium and all drawings, calculations and simulations are tested by TÜV Rhineland, a global provider of technical, safety, and certification services. 👍
