Besides that, they also provide free WiFi service, and pride themselves on serving good cups of coffee! This family-friendly cafe in Kajang seems like the ultimate dream. Founded by a couple who quit their corporate jobs to pursue their interests in fashion and F&B, you can be sure that everything that is served at Kayan+Co is brimming with passion, so much so that you can taste it! Their cuisine is widely varied, ranging from local delights infused with elements from neighbouring countries (Indonesia, Thailand) to Western food (American, Italian). Furthermore, their cafe is cosy and rustic, so you’ll be able to get some Insta-worthy shots! 😍

3. Le Moon’s Eatery.Bakery.Zakka (Jade Hills, Kajang)

Cafes usually take up only one floor, or the most, two. But not this cafe in Kajang, oh no. Le Moon occupies three storeys, and is a soothing, pastel turquoise colour on the exterior. Hints of the turquoise show on the interior, but not overwhelmingly so as it is set off perfectly by wood finishes, creating a minimalist look with gentle vibes. Le Moon primarily serve Western food, and their pastry is said to be a hit! Even if you live far away, Le Moon is definitely worth the trip! ❤

Situated on the top of a hill, diners will be able to get a good view overlooking KL. Although they mainly serve Western food, they have since expanded their menu to include steamboats (even something called a cheese steamboat)! It’s a perfect match for the windy weather up top! Commonly described as romantic, it’s a popular spot for couples for first dates or anniversary celebrations. It’s almost always crowded especially on weekends, so don’t forget to make a reservation if you have something special planned! 😍

Located conveniently right in front of Station Stadium Kajang MRT, SDC Coffee House prides themselves on serving quality coffee. They have good main dish options, especially for breakfast, as you can choose between local or Western breakfast options in the form of nasi lemak or Big Breakfast. They have crafted some signature drinks as well, but you’d have to visit them in person to find out more and sample them in person! 😄

Even though it’s a comfy bakery cafe serving all kinds of pastry from bread to cake, they serve pretty good main dishes as well. The dodonish comes highly recommended, as does the rice balls. Specially-crafted drinks with fancy names are also served here, but the highlight (for Instagram fanatics) is probably the island in the middle which holds their assortment of pastries. The interior is clean and bright too, so it makes a great environment for lazing the day away. 😄

Never Give Up Cafe serves authentic Malay food such as ayam penyet, nasi kerabu and maggi mee cooked in a variety of ways. Their rice and noodle dishes look absolutely scrumptious, as do their colourful drinks, especially the sky-blue of their nasi kerabu! 😍

The Gate One Kitchen serves Western food, and you can choose to dine in indoors or outdoors. They served the usual Western dishes such as fish & chips, burger, spaghetti, beef steak, and lamb chop among others. If you are feeling hungry, they also serve something called a double set, where you can eat double the meat without buying two separate dishes. Alternatively, you can mix and match different types of meat for a meal! 😋

As its name implies, Tea Cottage serves coffee and tea, as well as some dessert and finger food. More of a high-tea place than a brunch/lunch place, it’s perfect for a ladies’ day out! Shades of white fill the interior, set off with quaint wooden chairs and tables, so you and your girls can help each other take those candid shots! 😍
