Souka Bakeshop’s cafe in Subang SS15 is actually their second outlet, with the first being in TTDI. A family-grown cafe, Souka specialises in sweet treats, having more than 10 varieties of cakes, pies, doughnuts, and desserts each day. That’s not to say they don’t serve main meals though; you can also enjoy pasta, sandwiches, churros, and weekend breakfast there. Have a special occasion coming up? 2. HYPE Concept Cafe (SS15, Subang Jaya)

“Fancy some afternoon tea, darlin’?” In a coffee-prevalent society, the hype at HYPE is all about the tea, making it an excellent spot for high tea. The interior isn’t spacious with lots of concrete, but HYPE managed to make it cosy nevertheless. The whole shop is stocked up with various types of tea: green, black, fruit… Baristas are always happy to recommend the teas to you, and they also have a selection of cakes to complement your tea! HYPE also accepts bookings, as well as groups and parties. 👍

3. Upstairs Cafe (SS12, Subang Jaya)

As its name suggests, Upstairs Cafe is situated on the first floor. What’s special about this cafe in Subang SS12 is that its interior is very homey, besides the mouth-watering food there. (It’s actually one of my all-time favourite cafes!) It’s a casual kind of cafe, with music playing in the background and a TV playing in a corner, so you can enjoy chit-chat over a cuppa. They serve good coffee, a well-varied menu including mains, pasta, and brunch food, as well as dessert! 😃

4. OW:L Espresso (SS15, Subang Jaya)

Tucked away in a corner right next to INTI College in SS 15, OW:L Espresso is a go-to for bingsu lovers! Besides their iconic bingsus, they have also recently launched new food items called “Rich Pasta” as well as cup rice. A variety of bingsu flavours are waiting for you to explore, but their most famous product is probably the cotton candy bingsu. What’s more, the cotton candy is created to look exactly like a panda, so you can definitely enjoy eating this adorable treat! 😍

5. Grey Sky Morning (SS13, Subang Jaya)

Nestled safely within the industrial area, this cafe is very modern and minimalistic in design. The glass allows for plenty of natural light to filter through, and it’s quiet enough if you’re looking for a spot to get some work done. If you’re not looking to drink coffee, they also provide refreshing smooshies, and have a selection of quality cakes as well! The upside to being in an industrial area is that they have quite a number of parking lots, and their cafe is two storeys as well, so you can choose where to sit. 😄

6. Meeples European Board Games Cafe (SS15, Subang Jaya)

Especially fun with your competitive, kiasu group of friends, Meeples is a cafe that also provides board games for you to play with! And no, I’m not talking about the usual board games like Scrabble or Monopoly. Their wide variety of board games means that you can stay there for hours on end, munching your way through their snacks. They don’t have an extensive menu, but who needs food when you’ve got games, right? All I need are my French fries and my Nutella drink (yes, they have Nutella drinks!), and I’m good! 😆

7. Oh Scooter Cafe (USJ 21, Subang Jaya)

Scooter designs are everywhere in this cafe; to be specific Vespa. At the entrance of the cafe, there’s an even a real-life scooter! You can sit on it, but you can’t ride it away. This cafe in Subang USJ 21 serves a variety of food, both mains and dessert, and seem like they’re always creating something new just for you. Lots of people recommend their brownies, but the food in their pictures all look equally delectable. According to their Facebook page, they’ll be closed for renovation starting from 18th July 2018, but you can bet they’ll be back soon! 👍

Another well-known cafe in Subang, Meteora is well-known for its churros! I’ve personally tried it and recommend it to everyone. Lit-up bubble lights fill the ceiling, casting a warm glow over everything in the cafe when it gets dark. Besides their churros, they also serve all-day breakfast, burgers, pastas, and other food. Whether you’re looking for a hangout place, or just some me-time to escape from it all, Meteora Cafe is the place! 😃

9. 95 Degrés Art Cafe (SS15, Subang Jaya)

Honestly, there’s something for everyone here in this cafe. Giving off a homey, chill vibe, the cafe serves mostly Western breakfast food inspired by Australian dishes, but they also have Asian food. To further induce a relaxing mood, they even have a swinging chair, and little outdoor section with plants! Recently, they just released a new product: the Musang King Cheesecake! Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of durian, they have other sweet treats for you as well! 💕

This cafe in Subang SS15 is dedicated to soymilk products! If you’re craving for a bowl of silky smooth taufufa, look no further than Dáo! Operated by siblings whose father ran the same business back in Ipoh, Dáo’s products are freshly made everyday from scratch, following the family’s recipe. Besides serving taufufa hot, they also have the cold versions of it, putting ice into the mix! After the taufufa, you can wash it all down with a soymilk drink too! 😍

A primarily Western cafe that serves its food and drink in Oriental-style utensils? That’s Kaizen Coffee! The interior is clean and bright with white walls, and burgers and fries seem to be their staple menu. That’s not all though! They also serve brunch food, pasta, and of course, their well-known coffee – freshly brewed just for you! Last but not least, they also serve a variety of cakes, including something called a “burnt cheesecake”. 😮

Le Lumineux Cafe, or more commonly referred to as LMX, is a neighbourhood cafe in SS15. Besides serving the usual cafe food, they also have shisha there, popular with youngsters who throng SS15. Pork-themed dishes take centerstage at LMX, but they also cater for those who prefer greens/fruits with some vegetarian options. Still not to your liking? Don’t worry, they have a combination of both meat and greens in their bruschetta, pasta, and other food items! 😍

Who knew that turning a factory lot into a cafe would be this cool? Right at the end of a jalan in Subang’s industrial area, Whup Whup serves coffee and breakfast food primarily. It’s a different kind of vibe due to its unique setting, but it’s really spacious inside. Due to its ample space, you’ll never feel like it’s crowded. Whup Whup keeps up with current events; they’ll have special offers or food items in conjunction with whatever that’s current at the moment. Case in point: World Cup. 👍
